PRODUCT SPECIALIST FOR SUSTAINABLE INVESTMENTS

The product department is responsible for developing the company's products based on what is best for our customers and the world around them. We aim to become Sweden's leading occupational pension insurer for both companies and employees. As a product specialist for sustainable investments, you will be responsible, together with our product specialist for investment offerings, for evaluating and monitoring the funds and fund companies offered in our mutual and custodial insurance policies. You will chair our fund selection committee, co-chairing it. This role also involves continually ensuring that our fund proposals are aligned with our sustainability goals and support the transition to a sustainable, fossil fuel-free society. You will become part of the company's climate team and be involved in projects to implement the new sustainability rules,

The role of Sustainable Investment Product Specialist implies a great responsibility to help Handelsbanken Liv be perceived as the most sustainable player with a wide range and good order in the field of sustainable investing. We therefore believe that you will need the following skills and experience:

Education or other equivalent experience in a relevant field such as economics, law or finance.
Experience in finance, asset management or the insurance market. Experience in sustainability analysis or evaluation of funds and insurance companies would be an advantage.
Knowledge and experience in the field of sustainability. sufficient knowledge to prepare materials, analyses and data for the company climate report, sustainability report and annual report, and sustainability-related initiatives report, or equivalent knowledge

You are organised and analytical and can use this to take initiative and move forward.
You are proactive and understand that resilience and business acumen go hand in hand.

Development opportunities

This role offers excellent development opportunities in a priority area. As a Sustainable Investment Product Specialist, you will have a wide network across the Group, engaging with key sustainability departments, product development companies and foundations. In doing so, you will also develop your skills in project management and participation, as well as in the implementation of sustainability policies. Much of the work is done in close cooperation with other Handelsbanken units. The product unit consists of ten people, and you will work with them and closely with them, as fund offers are an integral part of the customer experience for most of our insurance products.

The Swedish insurance market consists of approximately SEK 8,000 billion in assets under management, of which almost SEK 4,000 billion are variable assets. Handelsbanken also has significant growth potential in existing business and with existing customers, both retail and corporate customers of the bank. Handelsbanken Liv has been the largest moving market in terms of transferred capital for several years now, and we both want to maintain and strengthen this position.
